Backup and Continuity
An untested backup is a guess. We run local and cloud copies with Veeam, and we restore from them on a schedule, because the only backup worth paying for is one you have watched come back.
Two copies, two places
Local backup gets you back on your feet fast, because the data is in the building and restoring is a matter of minutes. Cloud backup covers the cases where the building itself is the problem: fire, flood, theft, or a ransomware infection that reached everything on the network. You want both. They solve different problems.
Tested, or it does not count
We restore files from your backups on a regular schedule and record what happened. This is the part most providers skip, and it is the part that decides whether a bad morning turns into a bad quarter.
Moving off something older
We have moved a number of clients from iDrive and Windows Server Backup onto Veeam. If you are on something you inherited and nobody has checked in a while, that is worth a conversation.
